Eyes of the Lord (Part 2)

4. Upper room and Pitcher of Water

Eyes of the Lord 2 The eyes of our Lord Jesus saw the large upper room furnished and prepared, and the pitcher bearing water. (Luke 22:10, 12; Mark 14:13, 15)

Friends! Nothing in your home is hidden to our Lord. Thy basket and thy store are not neglected from his blessings (Deu28:5). From going to and fro in the earth satan saw Job. O! he couldn’t reach to Job’s camels, cattle’s and donkeys! Even he was unable to go near them. Satan told to Lord as, Hast not thou made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? (Job1:10) Isn’t it Amazing!! Lord’s eyes ran to and fro in all that Job had (II Chronicles 16:9). Yes! Job’s possessions were surrounded by the power of the Lord. Satan was flown away even by the cattle and donkeys of Job!

Likely the eyes of the Lord ran to and fro on Paul’s belongings Bible says, So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them (Acts 19:12).

Do you know the reason behind how all those miracles revealed the Glory of God by Paul’s handkerchief?  because the Spirit of God moved on the belongings of Paul (Genesis 1:2). The Lifeless objects can never be filled by the Spirit of God, but they can be used by Him to work out great Salvation (Judges 15:15)

Friends let the Spirit of God be moved upon all your belongings and proclaim the power of God to all!

Also Jesus Christ said to Peter and John,” Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meets you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entered in….. Go and prepare us the Passover, that we may eat” and sent them (Luke 22:8-12).

Why did Jesus ask to follow a man who carries a pitcher of Water?  The water in that pitcher was proclaiming the death of Jesus. Read the passage in (Levi 14:5-7), one of the birds is killed in an earthen vessel over running water; dip a living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed and let the living bird loose into the open field. So, that the living bird shall fly and live.

Does it not refers that the bird which was dead is the Lamb of God and the bird which flew is you in the above statement? Yes it is! As a “Reflection” disciples of Jesus Christ were also sanctified with the blood from our everlasting fountain (Jesus) on that day (John 13:4, 5)

Bible says, I am poured out like water (Psalm 22:14). One of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water (John 19:34).

Friends! Jesus Christ is waiting to meet you in your city with His “EVER LASTING FOUNTAIN” and also transformed Himself like a slave to sanctify you. Yes! With the blood and water poured out of his body in the Calvary. Follow him! For He is the only way to the upper room which is prepared and filled by His power specially for you. He will lead you there (Acts 1:13, 2:1-4) and also there is a sacrifice of Passover to fill you with fire of the Lord (Mark 14:12). Friends! Don’t say we can go later! This is your time!

Blessed are the preachers who knew the coming and going of the Lord by the Knowledge of Holy spirit. Never take apart yourself from Him. You have got the privilege to dwell and walk with the Lord! Fear not! For the person who has opened eyes {spiritually opened by God (Like John in Revelation)} can know the coming and going of Jesus, and also the dwelling place of the Lord. How far he may be, his eyes will recognize the Lord!

5. Fig tree and Disciples

Eyes of our Lord Jesus saw the fig tree and the disciple under it                    (John 1:48, 50)

Jesus saw Nathanael who was sitting under a fig tree and was meditating the person about whom Moses and all the prophets wrote. Why Jesus saw him particularly when he was under this tree?

Vine always depends on the fig tree (Luke 13:6). The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languishes (Joel 1:12). The fig tree and the vine do yield their strength (Joel 2:22). In that day, said the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree (Zech 3:10).

In the beginning the leaves of this fig tree is the one which covered the man who sinned (Gen 3:7). The good fruits of Fig (Judges 9:10, 11) healed the diseases which are incurable (II Kings: 20:7, Isaiah 38:21).

The branches of the vine which depended on the fig tree, which fig tree is it? It is the Cross! In which Jesus glorified (Gal 6:14). Under this Tree Nathanael sought the person whom Moses and all the prophets wrote. And the eyes of our Lord Jesus saw that!

Friends, A fig tree without a vine nearby is always a curse (Mathew 21:19, 20) but a fig tree which holds a vine is power of God to us                         (1 Corinthians 1:18) “For the preaching of the cross…….. Unto us who are saved it is the power of God

When Jesus talked about this tree (Cross) Nathanael was filled with faith (John 1:50) and Jesus said to him “Thou shalt see greater things than these” (John 1:50).

Friends! Today even you will see greater things than this. Yes! Cross is the place where all great things begin! You will do great things beneath this cross. You will see great things which never happened ever since the beginning of this world! Do you know why? Because you have been found by our Lord Jesus Christ beneath the cross (John 1: 48,50). The source of Word of Knowledge which shows you the great things is beneath the Cross!

Oh! Thou hast made me see the power of His Word of Knowledge at the Foot of Thy Cross.
