“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” (Ephesians 4:29) (KJV)

Let us open our hearts wide to listen the gentle whisper of Holy Spirit,

We are the children of God and it should be declared in everything we do especially the way we talk. It is more important for the Lord has given us mouth to Praise and Glorify the Name of the Lord and it should not be used for any unnecessary purpose. That’s reason Paul writes to Colossians,

“Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man” (Colossians 4:6)

[su_pullquote align=”left”] Abraham is a man who never uttered an unfaithful word in all his troubles.[/su_pullquote]

Abraham is called as faithful servant of God but more than that He is been called as the “Friend of God”.

“And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.” (James 2:23)

Friends, there is one important thing which we need to learn from Abraham today. That is whatever impossible the situation will be He never lost his faith, this we all know but Abraham is a man who never uttered an unfaithful word in all his troubles.

When the Lord asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son Isaac, He never even said the name of the mountain to Abraham at first. Bible says,

“And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.” (Genesis 22:2)

“Upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of” he trusted his Lord and started his journey. When the Lord showed him the mountain he asked his servants to stay back and took only his son further. When Isaac asked Abraham about the sacrifice we could see the faith of Abraham his reply was,

“And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering” (Genesis 22:7,8)

[su_pullquote align=”right”] Friends let us examine our life today if the Lord allows some troubles in your life as He did for Abraham, are we murmuring or saying unholy words or are we believing and speaking the Faithful word which touches the Heart of the Lord?[/su_pullquote]

Lord heard these faithful words from Abraham as per his word we could see the Lord provided a Ram for the Sacrifice!

“And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.” (Genesis 22:13)

Friends let us examine our life today if the Lord allows some troubles in your life as He did for Abraham, are we murmuring or saying unholy words or are we believing and speaking the Faithful word which touches the Heart of the Lord?

Friends as per Bible after the Ram was sacrificed the Lord blessed Abraham,

“That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.” (Genesis 22:17,18)

What a great blessing not only his generation will be multiplied as sand in the sea shore also all the nations of the earth will be blessed in his seed!!!!

Speak faithful words, be holy for the one who worship is Holy and surely the Lord will bless you as He blessed Abraham!!! For …..

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” (Hebrews 13:8) Amen.
