God divided the light from the darkness
“And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.” Genesis 1:4 (KJV)
“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” (Genesis 1:3)
Let us mediate this verse with the help of Holy Spirit,
Genesis Chapter 1 describes the creations of the Lord. Here in this particular verse we could see that God created the Light. Yes! He created the Light and not the darkness! And God saw the light and it was good in the sight of the Lord.
“And God saw the light, that it was good” (Genesis 1:4)
Today we could hear many say that God is the one who created darkness in the world (unwanted thoughts which leads us to sin) but friends do not be deceived be the children of light and don’t even bother to answer such people because they always think that they are wiser than the Lord and put all the blames on the Lord.
The answer for such question is in the Bible. God never created darkness but the earth was filled with darkness and the Lord gave Light to it. Likely Jesus Christ the one who dwells in the brightest light and himself is a light came to this world to give you light that you may not fall in darkness.
“Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto” (I Timothy 6:16)
Also, Lord not only created the Light but He separated the light from the darkness.
“God divided the light from the darkness” (Genesis 1:4)
Yes, you should stay away from the darkness of this world (sin), because light and darkness can’t be in the same place. If there is light then there won’t be any darkness. It is not written like light can have partial place in darkness or in vice versa but God separated it! Yes! If you say that I go to Church every Sunday and also attending convention meetings so I can do whatever I want on the rest of the days, then you are in a danger zone my friend! Yes Bible says,
“Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?” (James 3:11)
“Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.” (James 3:12)
Yes, you can’t be both. Either you have to be the children of the light or darkness! Friends, I strongly suggest you to think because this is the day of salvation! Yes, return to your Father and patch out your darkness. Because,
“God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” (I John 1:5)
Yes, there is no darkness in Him and it should be the same in your life if you are His children. Cleanse your heart and walk in the light that you will reach to your eternal home which Lord has specially designed as per your heart’s desire and built for you.
“For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.” (II Corinthians 5:1)
“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” (Colossians 3:2)
