The Lord

Lord (Luke 2:11)

The Lord  In Original version Lord means “God for Slaves”. In Luke 2:11 Lord combined with the word “εv “(en) which represents King of Kings. Mary never took pride that she is going to be mother of the Lord when she was pregnant instead declared herself as a slave to the Lord (Luke 1:38) and by listening this even Elizabeth identified Christ as the Lord (Luke 1:43). In Luke 1:76 Zacharias acknowledged Him as “Lord”. Three wise men from east also honoured Christ as the “Lord”, they fell down worshipped Him and offered gifts (Mathew 2:11).

Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. (Mathew 2:2.) All the familiar spirits and the wizard’s acts were ceased on that day. All the stars which are being used by Charmers and necromancer’s were faded before the Brightness of HIS STAR.  Three wise men were confused as this Star swallowed all the planets and stars and followed it.

Remember Balaam’s confusion when he saw this Star (Numbers 24:17) over here. The legs of lucifer and his fallen angels were kneeling by itself before Christ Jesus. Yes Christ is the Lord! His Star arose. The Star which didn’t show up until then rose on that day (Rev 2:1, 1:20). Every Righteous has his star and it shines according to the brightness of his deeds (Psalm 148:3). The Star of Jesus Christ was like a column of fire and was so brilliant that all the other stars couldn’t stand before it and migrated from their own path. The Astrologers said, “We saw a star of exceptional brilliance in the sky and it so dimmed the other stars that they disappeared”- Infancy James.  Also Ignatius confirmed this. Yes! Jesus is the Lord of the heavenly hosts. They will depart when He says and stops when He commands.

When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him (Mathew 2:3). Here Jerusalem is matched up to feminine (Only in Mathew). Fear of feminine was upon Jerusalem “she did not repent” (Mathew 11:20). “I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth” (Numbers 24:17). A Star “STEPPETH” out (Hebrew translation) and walked as a commander (Joshua 5:14) before the Magi’s.

Here Herod is from Edom. Numbers 24:18 says, “And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly”. Jesus Christ from Israel did valiant deeds on Herod of Edom. Oh! Herod trembled. He will dig out the generations of Seth son of Adam from the Rock of the Ages as per Isaiah 51:1 and these will be His people and His Descendants. Even we were His people and Descendants who were dug out from the Rock of the Ages.

The Star stopped directly above the head of the Child (Gospel of James 21:10.In Port. Jas21:3 the star goes before the magi until it Stand over Jesus Head). The Star did not remained on high but it came down and performed its “OFFICE CHRYSOSTOM”. Isn’t it most wonderful miracle which ever happened? He is our” Lord of Miracles”.

“He took the young child…………. and departed in to Egypt” (Mathew 2:14). Jesus, Joseph and Mary entered into Egypt on that very night. Many Angels helped them in their journey (EXODUS).

Friends! Jesus is Lord of all! If you accept Christ is the Lord of all in your heart in this season of Christmas you will be seeing greater miracles through your life. Amen.
