Water of Life

Water of Life

[su_heading style=”1″][su_button link=”#” color=”#F70D1A” size=”5″ style=”5″ dark=”0″ radius=”10″ icon=” target=”blank”] Water of Life [/su_button][/su_heading]

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.” (Revelation 21:6) (KJV)

We should not take the literal meaning of the word “thirsty”. Water of life to the thirsty, thirsty in seeking souls for the Kingdom of God, thirsty in the love of God, thirsty to seek the Lord early in the morning and thirsty to see the miracles of the Lord!

Yes friends, now you may think where could I get this “Water of Life” it is from our Lord Jesus Christ,

“But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” (John 4:14)

Jesus said this to the woman of Samaria. Water of life is water which springs up and supplies its goodness around it; it never stops and be stagnant in one particular place but travels for it’s a bubbling water!

We could see this in the life of Jesus Christ, He never been in one place, he travelled around, healed the sick, preached the word of God in synagogues, street, wilderness, sea shore and also here in a place where He rested for He was hungry! The water never stopped to provide its richness wherever He went! This very Water of life was given to the woman of Samaria and what happened next?

“The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?” (John 4:28,29)

She was in a hurry that she left her pot and ran into the city! This Water of life drew the whole village into the Kingdom of God, and it made the Lord Himself to tarry. Yes, Bible says Jesus stayed there for 2 days and preached the word of God!

“When the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.” (John 4:40)

Friends, as children of God we are the part takers in the ministry of Jesus Christ. Yes, this Water is still flowing out of the Cross to all for there are millions of sheep without shepherd in this world and that’s the reason even in the Cross He cried “I thirst”.

Will you come to this fountain of “Living Water” today and drink of it?

“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” (Revelation 22:17) Amen.
