“Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men” (I Corinthians 7:23)

[gn_pullquote align=”left”]List of debt with the note at the end.GOD, Who will pay this debt on my behalf?[/gn_pullquote]

Redemption from our old sinful life is given to us by the Blood of Christ Jesus. Yes, He paid the price; he suffered in our place and gave us freedom to worship Him with liberty and to be with Him in Heaven.

Napoleon was a French military and political leader most of his life was spent in war field. He usually visits his army camp in the night to check on the soldiers. There is a Rule in the camp that the lights should be put out at 10p.m and it should not be on until morning to safeguard themselves from the enemy troops. At one particular night when Napoleon was checking on the camp as per his usual manner he saw a tent where the light was on.

Whoever is in that particular tent should be pronounced death as per their law. But, Napoleon went into this tent to check on the soldiers and found a soldier sleeping in study table with a sheet in his hand. When Napoleon went nearby and saw what is been written in that sheet he was surprised to see the list. The list is about the debt that soldier has to pay and at the end he wrote as

“GOD, Who will pay this debt on my behalf?”

When the soldier woke up in the morning he was trembled with fear when he looked at that sheet. For at the bottom of that page it is written as,

“I Will pay all your debt”- Napoleon

The soldier was filled with joy and thankfulness to the Lord for he escaped the judgment which has to come upon him and also all his debt was paid! Bible says,

“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it” (Colossians 2:14,15)

[gn_pullquote align=”right”] We are so blessed for Lord Jesus Christ has already paid the price Now you are not the slaves of the eternal death but you are the citizens of Heaven. Jesus has freely given to all His children who accepted Him as their saviour in their life![/gn_pullquote]

Friends, We are so blessed for Lord Jesus Christ has already paid the price Now you are not the slaves of the eternal death but you are the citizens of Heaven. Jesus has freely given to all His children who accepted Him as their saviour in their life. He paid the cost and set us free. That’s the reason Paul stresses the Word in the above verse that be ye not the servants of men!

For you are called and redeemed for a greater purpose, Yes! Not to serve worldly people but to serve the Omnipotent one.

“For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s” (I Corinthian 6:20)

[gn_pullquote align=”left”]“Lord has sent a Comforter, Holy Spirit for us to lead us in the path of righteousness.”[/gn_pullquote]

Jesus Christ has opened the doors of Heaven for you and me!!! Now what do you need to do to keep that citizenship? Friends we need to keep ourselves away from the unholy things of this world. Because Holy is our Lord. And Lord is so kind that He sent a Comforter, Holy Spirit for us to lead us in the path of righteousness.

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left” (Isaiah 30:21)

“Be ye holy; for I am holy” (I Peter 1:16)

Let everything you do give glory and praise to the Lord. Amen.

Abad of Jesus Christ,
